You can have two periods open at any one time on Proclaim below is how you move the period on:
From the Main Menu go to Month end/ Year end.
If you are wanting to leave the period you are in open and the previous period is open you will need to close the first period.
Select the radio button Close period **.
Select PROCESS.
You will then need to click on the radio button Move to Period ** and leave period ** open.
Select PROCESS.
If there is only one period open then the option you select is Move to period ** and leave period ** open you won't need to do step 3.
Note: If someone is already in the program then you won't be able to move the period on, you will need to get the user to log out and then this can be opened.
