Follow the steps below if no email icon appears in Proclaim:
Go to the User profiles option.
Find the user who is having the issue.
Go to to the Email and Printing Tab.
Next to to where the email address is entered there is a ticket box marked "Default"
This needs to be ticked.
Lastly, get the user to sign out and back in again. The icon should now appear at the top of the Proclaim Desktop.
