If you have access to Quick Case Record Browse, cases can be unlocked by following the steps below (access to this program is only provided once you have attended the relevant training):
Enter the Quick Case Record Browse program.
If you would like to unlock a specific case, enter the case reference number in the box above Case Ref. Alternatively, leave this blank to search the entire system.
Open the drop down field to the top right hand side of the screen and select the required user. If you would like to look at all users select All.
Click Show Locked.
From the results displayed, select the cases you wish to unlock. Multiple records can be selected by holding down Crtl on your keyboard. Alternatively, all records can be selected by clicking the Select/ Deselect button.
Click Unlock Selected. The status will change to Unlocked.
Exit the program.
