Correspondent name disappearing

If the correspondents name is entered correctly however when visiting the case at a later date the information is no longer there, it may that a correspondent field is also on another screen. If this is the case, other users could be updating the correspondent on the other screen and over riding the details.

If you require the same field/s to be displayed on more than one screen, it is recommended that only one screen contains fields which are editable. The additional screens should hold display only fields.

To make a field display only:

  1. Enter Screen Designer.

  2. Check out and update the screen.

  3. Right click on the relevant field.

  4. Select Display Only.

  5. Save and Commit the screen.

If you do not have access to the Screen Designer program, please contact your System administrator or please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
