⚠️ Important: You must install the OCX and the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime on every environment that runs Proclaim, including database servers, remote servers, and local machines.
Install the Proclaim WebView2 OCX
Unblock and extract the contents of the Webview2 ocx.zip file.
Add an antivirus exclusion for the extracted source location and for C:/Program File (x86)/Eclipse Legal Systems/Proclaim. The installer writes data to the OCX folder and creates a new folder called Webkit.
Reduce UAC to Never notify.
Put the server into install mode if you are using RDS.
Run the installer as an administrator using the highest available privileges.
Confirm the installation has completed by checking that the Webkit folder has been created and populated, and that the Access logo has disappeared from the app tray.
Install the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime
Open the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime download page.
Download the Microsoft WebView2 Runtime.
Install the runtime on every environment that runs Proclaim. This includes database servers, remote servers, and local machines.
Enable the WebView2 System Parameter
Open System Parameter Maintenance in Proclaim.
Create a new system parameter.
Enter the following values:

Leave the Code field empty if you want to enable WebView2 for all users.
Enter user profile codes in the Code field if you want to enable WebView2 for specific users only. Separate each profile code with a comma and do not include spaces.
📌 Note: Use a blank Code field for a global setup. Use comma-separated profile codes only when enabling the setting on a per-user basis.
