You may need to change the authorisation level of the field on screen or review the authorisation level of the user. Follow the steps below:
To do this from your proclaim menu, select Screen Designer
Locate the screen, click update and open
Right click on the field and select authorisation, make a note of the authorisation level set
Exit the screen, abandon the changes and exit screen designer
Go into User Profiles from the proclaim menu and navigate to the selected user
Check their authorisation level, it may need to be lowered so they cannot alter the field
Ask the user to log out and back in to pick up this change
