If you are trying to open a document from History and are presented with the error 'Word is already open outside proclaim', please try the following steps:
On your Keyboard, hold down crtl + alt + delete.
Select Task Manager.
Look for any tasks named winword. Depending on your computer settings, you may need to click on More Details to see the full list of Apps and background processes currently running.
Select the processes containing the phrase winword, and click End task.
Repeat step 4 with any further instances of winword.
