Error on CDS6 submission 'The fee you have entered is not valid for category 2 PROL matters'

If you receive this error, please follow the steps below:

  1. Within Proclaim Desktop, go into the matter.

  2. Go to the history and find the line containing the CDS6 case the matter was billed to.

  3. In the case search box enter the CDS6 case reference.

  4. Go to the relevant line.

  5. Check whether the Profit cost value corresponds with the Claim Code, if incorrect please correct and run the export and resubmit to LAA.

  6. If the Claim Code is correct please ask a question in the MyAccess Portal Digital Assistant and ask to "Speak to a human" to be put through directly to our support team.
