Items left unreconciled on the bank statement

Check your bank statement, did the unreconciled item amount actually debit or credit you bank account.

If it did not hit your actual bank statement then you will need to reverse the transaction on the ledger or transfer or send payment from the bank account.

If the amount did go through the actual bank account but you still have it sat as unreconciled, then you are going to need to select the bank reconciliation program from the main menu.

Open the statement for the date your transaction went through the bank.

Export a list of the reconciled items for that statement.

Tick the reconciled items back to your bank statement, you will then find out what your amount has been reconciled with instead of the item it should have been reconciled with.
