Error 'outside the range of list'

If you experience this error when entering or exiting a case then the cause is that a special character that Proclaim cannot register has been accidentally entered into some of the case information.

The 'outside the range of list' section of the error will be preceded by the entry that has the fault on it, and then it will list the faulty details. From that, you will be able to figure out what needs to be edited to resolve the issue.

For example, if there is a case where the address details for the client are 'John Smith Example Avenue Leeds LS1 111' and the full error message reads 'Entry 17 is outside the range of list John Smith Example Avenue Leeds LS1 1.(560)' then the issue is that there is a special character in the postcode that is stopping it from loading correctly.

If you would like a technician to look into this for you then please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
