'ActiveX' error

If you are receiving an ActiveX error when signing in to Proclaim, especially after a fresh install of Proclaim, it could be that the program files have not been installed correctly, this can sometimes be caused by the firewall blocking certain OCX files from being installed. In order to troubleshoot this by re-installing the program files, please follow the steps below.

  1. Connect to the client machine, sign in as an admin account, and find the Proclaim installation file.

    This is usually located at \\SERVER-Name\Prodisk\Proclaim\Install\CD but may differ from site to site.

  2. Make sure the Firewall is turned off for the installation.

  3. Right-click the Proclaim installation file, run as admin.

  4. Test by logging in to Proclaim.
