What's new
Access Legal Proclaim v3.5.2.1 brings a set of targeted enhancements to auditing, archiving and task visibility, alongside more than 20 fixes that improve the day-to-day reliability and efficiency of Proclaim desktop. This release focuses on making everyday tasks smoother and your audit and reporting data more dependable, with no disruption to the way you already work.
Key improvements in this release
More reliable audit data on import jobs Audit information generated by linked actions is now captured consistently when those actions run as part of an import job. Previously, some of this audit detail could be missed. A new system parameter controls how the system de-duplicates closely timed audit entries, ensuring a complete and accurate audit trail for imported work. (A linked action is an automated step that Proclaim triggers off the back of another action.)
Clearer CSV Archive screen The CSV Archive screen has been redesigned and split across two clearly separated tabs — one for Archive and one for Restore. This makes it easier to find the function you need at a glance and reduces the risk of selecting the wrong option, giving you a more straightforward experience when archiving or restoring matters from a CSV file.
Faster Audit Trail user selection on large sites The way you select a user within the Audit Trail has been improved. On larger sites with very high numbers of users, the previous control could run into a technical capacity limit; the replacement handles large user lists reliably, so you can run audit reports smoothly regardless of how many users your firm has.
Supervisor visibility of level 1 escalation tasks A new Task List system parameter allows supervisors to see level 1 escalation tasks in their task list. With this option enabled, escalated work is visible to the right people, helping supervisors keep oversight of tasks that need attention and reducing the chance of escalations being missed.
Other improvements and fixes
This release also includes 23 stability and reliability fixes addressing customer-reported issues across the product. Notable areas of improvement include Slip Postings stability (resolving an intermittent error, correcting column colour-coding, and refining how rows are displayed), archiving reliability (addressing memory handling and correcting how archived period data is stored), and display and data-accuracy corrections across enquiry and document screens — including Client Matter Enquiry notes no longer being truncated, Posting Enquiry tab behaviour, and clearer labelling in the Billing Guide. Further fixes cover the TouchPoint uploader, user profile email handling, the Credit Control Centre user dropdown, and login behaviour following an OpenEdge update.
