Permission to choose columns

Here are the steps that can be done to give permissions to a user to amend columns, these can only be added by someone who has User Profiles:

Note: If you or your system administrator don't have access to User Profiles, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.

  1. Go into User Profiles.

  2. Select the relevant user name you need to amend.

  3. Select the Browse Search tab at the top of the screen.

  4. Click Update at the bottom of the screen.

  5. Tick the box in the Query Options called Can This User Choose Columns.

  6. The option Can this user distribute configurations can be ticked if you would like the option for the change to affect all users.

  7. Click on save.

Note: The Default user must also have the tick box ticked in Step 6 in order to distribute configurations.
