You can cancel a cheque in the Cheque Printing program ready to reprint by following the below steps:
Load the Cheque Printing program.
Highlight the bank code.
Click the button that says Cancel a cheque top right corner.
Enter the cheque number then click find.
Highlight then click cancel a cheque.
The cheque will now be sat in the Reprint queue.
You can now reprint the cheque.
If you do not want to reprint and need to cancel the cheque completely then you must post a reversal of the original posting.
In General Postings select the posting type, then tick the Reversal box then select the posting to reverse.
