This can be done via a tick box in the Interest Calculator:
From the Main menu go into the Interest Calculator.
Tick Calculate Interest within a Date Range.
Untick the box Calculate Interest From Date Last Interest Paid.
Put a From and To date in.
Make sure all other details are filled in for the options required running the interest calculation.
Run by selecting CALCULATE INTEREST.
NB
If you put a To date in the interest will be posted at that date, as the interest you have chosen is up to that date and will need to reflect that. It will however post in the current period if the period is closed for the date you are posting
