The View Icons affect the default display of a Case Search when run through the Queries program in the Proclaim Desktop. The options which are available are:
Default will present the search results according to the settings applied in User Profiles. As standard these are usually large icons.
Large, Small and List will display the icons in accordance with the settings within Proclaim Desktop.
Details provides a view which contains columns of information (which are set up under the Columns tab) which gives the user much more information
Users can change the view once the Query is performed in Proclaim Desktop using the icons to the bottom of the screen.
Setting a view to “Details” within the Properties Tab can give the user access to much more information than just the case number. Setting this here saves the user changing their view if they do not default to Details meaning they do not miss any important information which the Query may be designed to display.
