Invalid supplier message when posting to new Purchase Supplier

Open Purchase A/C Maintenance from the Main Menu.

Select the new supplier you have created.

Check the Code box.

Is your code longer than 15 characters, is it cut off at the end in the box?

If so your code is too long for the posting screen.

Delete this supplier and create a new one with a shorter code.
