Error 'Connection failure for host: <host IP> port 17290 Transport TCP'

If you are receiving this error when trying to submit a claim then please follow the steps below to restart the stunnel service and resolve the issue.

Restart stunnel service

  1. Log into Proclaim and open Task Server Administration

  2. Check for the CCBC Task Server and which server it runs on, this is where stunnel is located.

  3. RDP to the server specified in the file path if not there already.

  4. Search for and open Services in Windows.

  5. Find and click the stunnel service.

  6. Click the Stop Service button then click the Start Service button.

If you do not have access to Web Services Administration or the above steps have not worked then please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
