It is possible to reopen a closed case, providing it hasn't been closed from within the Accounts program, by following the steps below:
Note: If the UPDATE button is greyed out in step 3, refer to your Cashiers to open the case up from the Accounts program.
Open the Proclaim Desktop or Main Case Handling program from the Proclaim toolbar.
Enter the case reference into the field in the top left hand corner of the screen and press enter.
Select the Case Control screen from the Screens tab in the Viewing Pane and click UPDATE.
The File closed field will be automatically highlighted.
Press the Delete button on your keyboard, then click SAVE.
If the Select Date pop up box appears, click on X and repeat step 4.

The case should now be open and available to edit.
