Two-factor Authentication (2FA) is a new security feature for TouchPoint users. 2FA adds an extra step to the existing login process, which now contains the following steps:
The user inputs login credentials to TouchPoint as usual.
TouchPoint sends the login credentials to Proclaim for validation.
Upon successful validation Proclaim generates a one-time six-digit authentication code. The message is sent back to the user via SMS.
The user receives the code and uses it to authenticate.
TouchPoint grants access.
