To resolve this issue the proxml.dll will need to be re-registered. Registering .dll files requires administrator permissions, if you do not have these permissions then please contact your internal IT and request that they follow the steps below.

  1. Make sure everyone is signed out of the terminal server if applicable.

  2. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

  3. Open the file path for the proxml.dll file.
    This is usually - C:\Progress\OpenEdge11\bin

  4. Type regsvr32 prox.dll and hit return.

  5. Type regsvr32 proxml.dll and hit return.

Note: The proxml.dll file may give an error that its not registered, but will still work as normal.

If following these steps has not resolved the issue then please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
