If the client gets the error message while doing postcode lookup or nearest within Proclaim, copy and paste the string from the system parameter such as this to determine whether it’s our code or AFD:
Log in on the affected users Proclaim as Access Admin.
Go into System Parameters.
Look for the system parameter:
KEY = AFD PostcodeEverywhere Nearest
CODE = Lookup
VALUE = http://Test-2003:81/afddata.pce?Serial=&password=
4. Put the value of the system parameter and the rest of the below URL together, e.g:
http://Test-2003:81/afddata.pce?Serial=&password=&userid=&data=address&task=fastfind&fields=list&lookup=bd15bj
Note: The URL is different on each site so make sure you're getting the URL from the clients System Parameters and not a test system or the example above.
If it does bring up a list of the results, look at the set ups in system parameter, check their serial and password as well.
If if does not bring up any results and instead get “data licence invalid” error, then check with AFD directly via:
[email protected] for support and any enquiries
