MTD Error - Blue screen opens when clicking Grant Authority then error starts 'Lead attributes in a chained attribute.'

ENSURE YOU HAVE LOGGED OUT OF PROCLAIM.

Browse to https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/

On the page that opens click 'Download Now.'

Under the Evergreen Standalone Installer header, click X86.

This opens a screen saying Download the Evergreen Webview2 Runtime standalone explorer.

Click Accept and Download.

Once downloaded save this file into a location available to all users who will be submitting via MTD.

A good location to save the file can be found by right clicking on the proclaim icon on your desktop, then selecting properties and saving in the same target location found there.

Right click on the downloaded file, then click run as Administrator.

Once this runs you can close it and then log back into Proclaim.

When you now click on the Submit button you should no longer have the blue screen appear (it may appear briefly then load the HMRC Login page)
