To show the value of a transaction that has the box marked as a counsel fee in the VAT return follow the below:
From the main menu go to General Postings.
Select transaction type CIV.
Click on NEW.
Put in the matter and details then select the posting in the box.
Click the floppy disk to save the posting.
Once you have finished all the postings select POST at the bottom of the screen.

There is a report that can be run to see all items that need to have a CIV done against them this is in the Advanced Report Execution.
