The WIP to Bill (WTB) posting type is used to allocate WIP to a bill that has fees recorded without already being allocated as WIP.
Open General Postings from the main menu.
Select WTB from the Transaction Type drop down.
Click New.
Enter the matter number. The Posting Allocations window will display.
Select a single Bill Fee Line on the left hand side that WIP should be allocated to and Select the WIP lines to allocate and enter the value on the right hand side.
Click Floppy Disk to save to return to the main posting screen.
Click the Floppy Disk to save button to save the transaction.
Click POST.

WIP can only be allocated to the value of fees.
