It is possible for PDF’s to open in a Web Browser rather than Adobe. This can either be done as Default for all users, or for specific users only, by adding a System Parameter in System Parameter Maintenance.
To set it up for All Users, follow the steps below:
Enter the System Parameter Maintenance program
Click New
In the Key field type Use WebBrowser for Adobe
Leave the Code Field Blank
In the Value field type Yes
Click Save
To set if up for Specific Users Only, follow the steps below:
Enter the System Parameter Maintenance Program
Click New
In the Key field type Use WebBrowser for Adobe
In the Code field, add the User numbers for each user you want the rule to apply to, separated by a comma: e.g. “180,52,32,66.” User numbers can be found in User Profiles
In the Value field type Yes
Click Save
