We have been able to complete the work required to update your Proclaim system in anticipation of the new Legal Aid rates being introduced to the Criminal Matters case type on the 22nd December 2025.

Due to the short timeframe we have had to investigate and implement this change, we are proposing to release our update notes and resources to you to make this change to your Proclaim system yourself if possible.

Before proceeding with the update it is important to ensure you have had the following updates applied to your system;

The last major fee change from September 2022. This introduced an updated billing process to Proclaim which is referred to in these notes.

This update included changes to the Police Station fixed fees and introduced the Youth Court billing process to Proclaim. This also updated the Standard Fees screen to improve performance.

The most recent updates which introduced Fee Codes to the billing process.
