This article summarises what is changing and provides a link to our full configuration guide so you can update your system ahead of the deadline.
What is changing
The fee changes affect two case types:
Debt Debtors - fees relating to Petitions for Bankruptcy, Writs of Control, Warrants of Control, Reissue of Warrant, Applications to require a judgment debtor to attend court, Third Party Debt Orders, Charging Orders, and Attachment of Earnings.
Probate - the Probate application fee and Office Copy fees.
All changes apply to matters issued or submitted on or after 13 July 2026.
What you need to do
Proclaim does not update automatically to reflect these fee changes. Your system administrator will need to make a number of configuration changes within Database Maintenance, including amendments to range tables, maths fields, and value fields, depending on which version and configuration of Proclaim you are using.
We have produced a detailed guide setting out exactly what needs to be updated, including the specific fields, range tables, and maths field logic involved, which is attached to this page.
We recommend reviewing this guide as soon as possible. Some updates can be made in advance of 13 July without affecting fees charged before that date, while others should be made on, or as close as possible to, 13 July itself. The guide identifies which approach applies to each change.
If you would like us to undertake these updates for you then please contact our Support team who will be able to pass this over to our Professional Services team.
