Creating a new VAT Quarter with various numbers of periods

From your toolbar select VAT Management.

Go to the VAT Quarters screen.

If a date is present in the VAT submission box then click on the CLOSE button at the bottom of the screen.

Check the Period and Year details in the New VAT Quarter area and if they are correct click on CREATE.

You are able to pick a different amount of periods if the VAT quarter will be less than the normal 3 periods.

Just put in the starting period and year and the ending period and year to tie up with the quarter you need and HMRC have agreed.

At the top of the VAT Quarters area check that the open period details are correct.

If the details are wrong click on the CANCEL button and try again.
