Error - Copy file error, could not allocate memory for a large object

The most common cause for this error is a lack of resources on this machine, more common on terminal servers where the resources are shared between multiple users. In order to check this follow the below steps:

  1. Right click on your taskbar and from the pop up menu select Task Manager.

  2. Towards the top of the task manager select the Performance tab.

  3. You will be able to see the amount of RAM you currently have as well as the amount that it's used normally in the format of used/total.

  4. If the above number is quite similar on both or if it says the memory goes to over 80% please contact your IT for them to increase the resources of the machine itself.
