Not having Adobe Acrobat Reader DC set as your default PDF program in Windows can cause multiple issues when attempting to work with PDFs in Proclaim. In order to find out when your default PDF program is, and how to set it to the correct program, please follow the steps below.

Find out what your current program is

  1. Type default apps into the type here to search bar in Windows.

  2. Select the first option.

  3. Select choose default apps by file type.

  4. Scroll to where the .PDF file type is.

Change your current program

  1. Click the current PDF program or Choose a default if none is set.

  2. Select Adobe Acrobat Reader DC from the drop-down list.

If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed on your machine then please contact your general IT and ask them to install it for you.
